Words For You
Stay In The Know:

The Clear Lens

April 23, 2019

Have you ever looked through a telescope or taken a picture?  While trying to capture your object you realize the lens is not focused.  Your object appears blurry and unclear.

You then begin to turn the dial until you can clearly see your object.  Ahhh, now I can see clearly.

I have realized that as long as life is flowing and things are looking up and promising the sky is clear and the lens is focused.  Tons of friends and new acquaintances want to be part of the clear vision you have.  They want to know how they can partner with you, how they can get in on a piece of the action.  If you have a talent or gift they will try and tap into it, to see how they can also benefit.  Life is grand when the lens is clear.

But what happens with the lens is blurred. There is a fog preventing you from seeing your object.  You know it is there but your vision has changed from 20/20 to 20/50.  Your lens has now placed you in a position of uncertainty and lack of clarity.

What happens to those acquaintances now?  They begin to question your vision.  Your temporary state has made them uncomfortable and they begin to move in a different direction.  They have now mastered what they have learned from you, while your vision was clear.

Remember all those partners who were reaching out.  They now have no reason to reach out.  They have what they need as they know your lens is temporarily blurred.

The key word is "temporary."  God has a way of making the crooked path straight again. Isaiah 45:2-4  (KJV)

I will go before thee, and make the crooked places straight: I will break in pieces the gates of brass, and cut in sunder the bars of iron.

The good news is that the lens will be cleared and the objects will no longer appear to be blurred.  God will make the vision plain.  Habakkuk 2:2

Then the LORD answered me and said, "Record the vision And inscribe it on tablets, That the one who reads it may run.

When your vision is restored and the Lord opens up the windows of Heaven.  Those who abandoned you when you could not see clearly, will be a blur in your sight.  God will intentionally place your lens out of focus, to protect you from what is not healthy for you.

Thank God for the clear lens and also thank him for the blurred lens.  They both serve a greater purpose.

Be blessed.

Meditate on that!
