As I prepared this blog I thought of a friend, who is constantly reminding me to "Trust the Process." His reminders inspired me to write this week's blog.
The definition for Process is as follows: a series of actions or steps taken in order to achieve a particular end.
The truth is we don't always understand why people do what they do. We see people in leadership take actions or steps that do not seem logical and sometimes they are not. However, there is always a particular game plan that they are following.
God has a series of actions and steps that he takes in order to get to an expected end.
Jeremiah 29:11 (KJV) - For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.
We may not always trust or are pleased with the actions and or steps God takes to get us to our Destiny, however, we have to trust it. Every move that he makes will not make you feel good but he knows exactly what he is doing.
Proverbs 16:9 - (KJV) - A man’s heart plans his way, But the Lord directs his steps.
I myself have questioned some of the actions God has taken in my life. I have had moments when I question God and say, "What is going on here, Lord?" This does not make much sense to me. However, whether it makes sense or not, I have to trust the process and know that he will only do what is best for me.
If you are in the middle of a season wherein moves are being made that keep you baffled. Do not spend time trying to figure it out. Sometimes there are things that are just not for you to figure out. Sometimes we have to ride the wave as it goes toward the shores. The end result will be revealed soon enough.
Sit back and relax, have a cup of tea, watch a good movie, read a good book and know that when God is working things out for your good. You have to just 'TRUST THE PROCESS."
Meditate on that!
